Shop Stock:
•Ordering, receiving, payment and capturing of stock
•Accurate rolling stock take
•Recording and filling of all rolling stock take documents
Fuel Stock:
•Ordering, receiving, payment and capturing of fuel stock
•Dips according to ops manual procedures.
Merchandising:
•Merchandising according to FIFO basis.
•Ensuring stock is kept clean
•Ensuring that there is no expired stock
•Pricing stock
•Packing shelves, fridges etc.
•Preventing the loss of stock through wastage and/or pilferage
•Monitoring the movement of stock in the business.
Accounts:
•Accurate capturing of shop and forecourt sales on the petsol system
•Allocating payments accordingly.
•Daily cash recon/daily control (sales, dips, POS dips etc.)
•Regular checks of the wet stock variance reports and debtors’ balances.
•Cash up recons to be completed
•Capture COD invoices immediately
Franchise Rules and Requirements
•Compliance with rules and requirements set out by the respective franchisor of the site at which you are stationed.
General Daily Site Running and Maintenance
•Ensure the forecourt, shop, carwash and gardens are well maintained and clean.
•Clean out dust from equipment and appliances.
•Check for wear and tear on equipment, appliances and structures.
•Call out relevant maintenance people and technicians when required.
•Following the ops manual with regards to appliance and equipment maintenance and testing.
•Ensuring that all funds, profit and working capital is accounted for.
•Spending 50% of the time on the forecourt and supervising activities.
•Ensuring the shop, office and forecourt are regularly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service
•Attending to customer related issues and queries in a respectable manner.
•Motivating and training the team to provide excellent customer service.
•Training employees on how to handle difficult/demanding customers.
•Providing added value services to customers within the franchisor regulations and guidelines.
•Attending to customer complaints timeously and professionally.
Sales and marketing
•Identifying sales and marketing opportunities.
•Effectively conducting promotions.
•Initiating ideas to improve customer service.
Work Ethic
•Work delivery must be timeous and with minimal mistakes.
•Employees must be organized and demonstrate leadership skills.
•Sending expected information within deadlines.
•Display responsibility and accountability for all work handled.
•Good communication and cooperation.
•Safeguarding the confidentiality of the business and its employees.
